InnovaTek has been selected for funding under DOE's CARAT program to help develop automotive components and subsystems for cleaner, more efficient cars and light trucks. U.S. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham announced the award stating that it reflected the government's "commitment to work with the private sector in making FreedomCAR technologies available for all Americans."
